1. The Zawatu Bridge
Zawatu provides a digital marketplace designed specifically to connect the African Diaspora with verified local vendors in Burundi. By using our platform, you acknowledge that Zawatu acts as a facilitator for transactions and is not always the direct seller of the goods or services listed.
2. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity performed under your account is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify our support team immediately.
3. Payments & Currency
All prices are listed in Burundian Francs (BIF). Payments made via international cards will be processed at the current market exchange rate determined by our payment processors. Zawatu ensures that all financial transactions are encrypted and secure.
4. Delivery to Beneficiaries
When purchasing for family or friends back home, you must provide accurate contact details for the recipient. Our local logistics partners will verify the identity of the recipient upon delivery to ensure your "treasures" reach the right hands.
Quality Guarantee
Zawatu vets every vendor. If a product delivered back home does not match the description or quality promised, we offer a 48-hour dispute window to protect your purchase.
